Not 100% sure if i totally dug the anthem or not. It was a rendition of the anthem with an orchestra, no singing. Why don't the habs have a guy like the singer in Chicago who gets the crowd absolutely fired up before the game. Montreal is such a historic team that they need to get a hometown guy to sing the anthem for the biggest game of the year. I'm just saying. There has to be some crazy opera singer in Montreal that could fill this role.
The disallowed goal is killing me. Right now we are in the second intermission and it should be 3-1 for the habbys. I can understand that the ref lost sight of the puck but thats why they have 2 referees isn't it? I mean, if this goal comes back to haunt them i and 100 000 other people will not be happy campers. Referees cannot blow a call of that magnitude at this stage in the season. Come on blue!
Lucic is just straight up dirty. You could call it charging, bording or checking from behind. Take your pick. Spacek had a pretty dirty cut above his eye the last time i saw him on camera but he seems to be ok. If Lucic sees the numbers he cant make that hit or he could at least ease up a bit, ya digg? Flat out dirty. Shades of Chara on Pacoretty.
Every time Carey Price goes to play the puck I pretty near shit myself. I know that he is one of the best puckhandling goalies in the league but still. Just stay in the net. Stop the dump ins behind the net, then get back in the net. Simple. Stop making Canadiens nation skip a heartbeat every time you come out of your net.
