Start of June after Graduation

So, I'm now fully exposed to real world events and hardships. The student loans do in fact have to be paid back despite what i thought 2 months ago. I started the summer off REAL rocky. I was unemployed for ~3 -3-1/2 weeks, I was so hurting for money I was just about to swallow my pride and drop off an application at Canadian Tire........for the second time. It was a scenario my brother in law compared to that Simpsons where Bart was punished to his room for the night without any pizza. Right before Bart was about learn his lesson, Homer sneaked up to his room and gave him pizza. Well, that was me with respect to finding a job this summer. Right before I was about to throw away my dignity and apply for a job at Canadian Tire I landed the best gig of my young life. I was hired on at one of the biggest dental practice in Atlantic Canada, The Fredericton Dental Center. I was put in charge of revamping the website (www.frederictondentalcentre.com) and marketing some of the new services the practice offers. My co-workers consist of Dr. Violette (the coolest dentist in the world) and 22 gorgeous women. Tough life eh...yea i know.

Aside from the job, its been kind of boring here in freddy. Not a lot of friends kicking around here so the weekends have been pretty limited. I Started playing frisbee with the Fredericton league this past Tuesday and it was actually awesome. We aren't very good, but man do we have fun. Everyone on the team is legit and the best part is that after the game, EVERYBODY and i mean everybody goes out to the bar afterwards and gets rinsed. Its the kind of frisbee I like. I was playing with the competitive spawn team but i dropped it pretty quick. That team consisted of several engineering guys who love themselves and take shit far too seriously. Lets get real here guys, you chase a piece of plastic that dogs play with down a field. Relax on the seriousness. So clearly i had enough of that BS.

Last thing I wanted to talk about was my upcoming "interview" for Poznan University of Medical Sciences. I FINALLY, received an email from the dean of dentistry confirming my interview in Missisauga on July 5th. This is a really weird situation for me. I think that I'm in, but I don't actually know if I'm in...... and because of the uncertainty, I'm getting really nervous for my upcoming interview. I heard its really relaxed but I'm still a little bit worried about what they will say about my marks. I have to go get a chest x-ray, urine test and blood work all for the interview I have to get done. Its a huge process and I really hope it was worth it. I have no backup plan, I am totally balls deep ready to go on this and if it doesn't work out I'm fucked and will have to blog about it. I want this soooooo bad. I love being a student and I am fully committed to getting what I want out of life. Dentistry is what I want. From now up until the interview I am gearing up for it. I have a rough idea of what I'm going to be asked but I'm going to try and cover all my angles. I quite confident that they can't ask me anything about Biology that I don't know. Physics might be tough but it should be a question concerning something pretty broad like "what is light" or what is "sound"...... I hope. Will keep posted on the progress and results. If all goes well I will be learning Polish in a month. Cheers
